 " PREMATURE EMASCULATION "

Have the bulldozers moved in too early ?

A group of 20 or so locals stood up to the continuing destruction of vegetation, which happened - (according to DSE officials) BEFORE an ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN HAS BEEN APPROVED.

What difference does that make ? Well it means that the small and furry animals which used to enjoy one of the few remaining "bush corridors", could well be buried under the dozens of windrows  - ALL THAT REMAINS AFTER THIS CALLOUS PREMATURE "MOONSCAPING".

THE AREA COVERED BY THESE PICTURES IS LESS THAN 1 KILOMETER - from Cranbourne Rd south. - Peninsula Link is 23 kilometers long,- not ALL bush, but be prepared to be seeing this for a long time.

Good on the vocal locals who ensured that a police presence brought this madness to a stop. Please contact the website via the homepage to stay in touch.

  Through the WIllow Resrve gate.
